<p>PURPOSE:To assure that write data from a host computer can be properly stored in a flash memory at a flash disk with compressing function. CONSTITUTION:Redundant data are added to the write data from a host computer 1000 and those data are compressed, extended and compared with the original data so as to assure that the compression processing is properly performed. Further, redundant data are added to the compressed data and written in a flash memory 1050 and those data are read and compared with the data before writing so as to assure that the data are properly written in the flash memory 1050. With these two assurances, it can be assured that the write data from the host computer 1000 are properly compressed and properly written in the flash memory.</p> |
