PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk master exposing format signal generating device generating a modulated light signal and a deflected light signal as format signals for exposing/forming two series of header patterns and wobble grooves. SOLUTION: One revolution of an optical disk master is detected by a rotation detective means 5, and two series of header window signals HW with different timing and width are switch generated by a first switch means 15 at every one revolution, and the header patterns HP of respective sectors are outputted serially with a header pattern output means 8 by making this header window signal HW a gate signal. Further, the header window signal HW is converted into a drive signal level of an optical deflector by a first level conversion means 9 to be outputted, and a groove window signal GW is generated/ outputted on every other revolution by a second switch means 17. Further, a wobble signal WBL is converted to the drive signal level of the optical deflector by a second level conversion means 11 by making the groove window signal GW the gate signal to be outputted. |
