PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a callee to confirm even a caller number on-hooked by a caller before the reception of a call signal, and to allow the callee to discriminate whether or not this is the caller number on-hooked by the caller before the reception of the call signal. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a control circuit 7 connected with a telephone station which transmits a caller number before transmitting the call signal of speech, which allows a register 71 to store the caller number at the time of detecting the caller number by a caller number detecting circuit 2, which reads the caller number from the register 71, and allows a RAM 9 to store the caller number as a first group at the time of detecting the line opening of a caller before the detection of the calling signal, and which reads the caller number from the register 71, and allows the RAM 9 to store the caller number as a second group at the time of detecting the calling signal.
