PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set equipped with an echo canceler without reducing output sound pressure. SOLUTION: A received audio signal inputted from an analog public line 12 is amplified to a proper value by a loudspeaker driving amplifier 3 and then outputted at a speaker 5. This output voice contains distortions due to electrical characteristics and electrical/acoustic converting characteristics of the speaker 5. A microphone 6 collects sounds generated by the user of a telephone set 1, simultaneously collects sound output by the speaker 5 as well and outputs composited sounds. Through this composited transmission audio signal, only a feedback audio signal in the composited transmission voice is removed by the received audio signal which is inputted through a received voice correcting part 10 for correction, and the transmission audio signal is extracted. This extracted audio signal is outputted through a public line interface part 2 to the analog public line 2.
