<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail so as to eliminate a hindrance of obstructing flowing water, etc., even when a stairway part of a revetment is submerged. SOLUTION: This handrail device for a stairway of a revetment is constituted by providing a base 10 provided on an inclined surface S formed along inclination of a stairway K provided on the revetment G, a handrail main body 20 furnished with a handrail 21 along inclination of the stairway K and a leg member 22 to support the handrail 21, a support mechanism 30 to support the leg member 22 against the base 10 free to move to two positions of an erecting position A to erect the handrail main body 20 against the inclined surface S and a falling position B to flatly fall against the inclined surface S and a locking mechanism 40 to lock the leg member 22 at the erecting position A, and it is devised to eliminate a hindrance of obstructing flowing water, etc., by setting the handrail main body 20 at the falling position B where there is a small influence of the force of water.</p> |
