PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrating gyro which displays a stable characteristic with reference to a temperature change. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric vibrating gyro uses an energy confinement- type vibrator which is constituted in such a way that a plurality of electrodes as driving electrodes and detecting electrodes are formed at least on one face of a part which has a polarization component in the thickness direction of a piezoelectric plate 10. In this case, a material whose value of a coefficient of thermal expansion is within±20% of the value of the coefficient of thermal expansion of the piezoelectric plate 10 is used as a material for a frame-shaped holder 21 which supports and fixes a part or the whole of the outer circumference of the piezoelectric plate 10.
