PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing method of completely shutting off the sliding surface of a heating cylinder body from the leakage of the gas of processing equipment in rotary heat processing equipment provided with the heating cylinder body which heat processes object to be processed. SOLUTION: The rotary heat processing equipment is formed by rotatively supporting a heating cylinder body 1 connecting the housing 7 of the charging and discharging units B and D of the object to be processed by the engagement with the both ends of the external heat type heating cylinder body 1 which heat processes the object to be processed while transferring the object to be processed, forming a double seal structure with the slidable seal of a main seal member comprising a gland packing 5 arranged between the heating cylinder body and the housing, arranging an auxiliary seal member surrounding the heating cylinder body surface by pressuring a sheet form packing 6 on the surface of the heating cylinder body 1 though a wire spring 9 on the outer side of the main seal member, and fixing the auxiliary sealing member detachably to the housing.
