PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable making a contract, performing management and providing various services per port in a LAN switch or per session in WLAN. SOLUTION: This network system and this network control method have a switch 101 having a plurality of ports to which user terminals 102 can be connected, and a server 105 for performing predetermined management and provision of services per the port. Predetermined setting has been performed per port for the switch 101 so that it can deal with the predetermined management and the provision of the services by the server 105.
