<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor comprising a fluid dynamic pressure bearing. <P>SOLUTION: A spindle motor 100 comprising the fluid dynamic pressure bearing comprises a stator 110 including a winding coil which forms electromagnetic force at application of a power source to generate a rotational driving force, a rotor 120 including a magnet which rotatably faces the winding coil against the stator 110, a dynamic pressure generating part including a shaft fixed to either the stator 110 or the rotor 120, and a sleeve which faces the shaft with an interval of prescribed distance. Either the shaft or sleeve is provided with at least one groove for generating dynamic pressure.
