<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge capable of improving the rigidity of a developer storing part by simple constitution while reducing the thickness of the process cartridge and an image forming apparatus in which the process cartridge is detachably mounted. <P>SOLUTION: In the toner storing chamber 92 in a developer cartridge 32, a pillar member 81 is erected from the inner wall surface of a bottom wall 74 to the ceiling side and an engaging cylinder part 91 to be engaged with the pillar member 81 is erected on a ceiling wall 87 arranged with an interval from the bottom wall 74 in the thickness direction toward the bottom surface side. Even when stress in a compression direction is applied between the ceiling wall 87 and the bottom wall 74, the stress can be received by a reinforcing pillar 65 formed by engaging the pillar member 81 and the engaging cylinder part 91 each other.
