FIELD: construction, particularly to repair waterproofing coverings and roof coverings including organic binding agent. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves applying bitumen-based waterproofing composition on covering to be repaired; holding the covering as it is; heating waterproofing composition along with organic binding agent of the covering and rolling-up waterproofing composition to the covering along with compaction thereof. After covering and waterproofing composition heating fine material is applied on waterproofing composition surface in amount of 1.25-2.5 kg/m2. Fine material has conductivity of not more than 0.95 W/(m°C) in dry state. ^ EFFECT: increased crack-resistance and decreased waterproofing covering swelling during covering usage. ^ 2 cl
