The invention relates to power engineering and makes it possible to increase the effective efficiency of a rotary-vane internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle operating in an urbane driving cycle, to reduce exhaust gas toxicity and to raise a power-to-weight ratio. The inventive engine comprises a cylindrical working cavity provided with two coaxial rotors, each of which consists of a hub provided with at least two vanes which are fixed thereto and divide the volume of the cylindrical working cavity into variable-volume working chambers, a transmission mechanism for rotating rotors with variable rotary speeds, a combustion chamber communicating with the working cavity by means of displacement and reception windows, the working cavity end covers and a fuel supply system. According to the invention, said transmission mechanism is embodied in the form of at least two crank shafts rotatable in a carrier, wherein each crank shaft comprises at least two pin bearings, through which said crank shaft is connected to the rotor hubs by means of connecting rods, and at least one toothed ring engageable with at least one fixed wheel, exhaust gases are replaced in the working chambers by an incoming charge through channels connectable to the working cavity and closable by controllable valves and the combusting chamber is embodied in the form of flame tubes communicating with a gas receiver. |
