<p>A roof panel 1 for a flat or low pitch roof comprises an inner metal sheet liner 2, an outer scrim liner 3 and a body of insulation 4 between said metal sheet liner 2 and said scrim liner 3, wherein the scrim 3 receives a waterproof covering. The inner metal sheet liner 2 may be a profiled decking formed from painted galvanised steel, and the body of insulation 4 may be a foam. The scrim 3 may be a fibre glass scrim applied to a tissue, or a support fibre coated or impregnated with bitumen. A later embodiment relates to a continuous method for producing a roof panel comprising an inner liner, a foam insulating layer and a scrim layer for receiving a waterproof covering.</p> |
