<p>A method and an apparatus for transmitting additional information on digital broadcasting to an IPTV by using a home gateway are provided. The additional information on a digital broadcast program is received through an IP based home network, and a DVBSTP packet is created by using the received additional information, and the packet is transmitted to the home network. Accordingly, a user can immediately obtain various pieces of information on a current broadcast program or a next broadcast program, and thus scheduled recording can be accurately carried out by using information on a broadcast time of the broadcast program.</p> |
