A paper medium transfer apparatus and an automatic teller machine including the same are provided, which prevent the folded paper medium from being caught on the transfer path. A paper medium transfer apparatus comprises the medium guide part(130), and the medium transfer part(140). The medium guide part is formed on one side of the paper medium of the progressive direction. The medium guide part comprises the guide face(131) in which high-end and low-end points show up according to the progressive direction of the paper medium. The medium transfer part forms the transfer path of the paper medium and transfers the paper medium. The medium transfer part comprises the belt element(141), and the belt rollers(142,143). |
