According to the present invention relates to square-shaped rice food. A manufacturing and packaging method of square-shaped rice food comprises the following steps: mixing sweetened vinegar, a filling and boiled rice to prepare mixed rice, or mixing sweetened vinegar and boiled rice to make sweet and sour rice balls and putting a filling between the sweet and sour rice balls to prepare layered rice; putting the mixed rice or the layered rice into a mold with a square molding groove, and pressing the mixed rice or the layered rice by a push plate to mold the mixed rice or the layered rice into square-shaped rice food; firstly packaging the square-shaped rice food by a food wrapper with high water resistance, oil resistance and heat resistance; and secondly packaging the square-shaped rice food by an environment-friendly food wrapper. The square-shaped rice food is conveniently carried with one hand and easily taken. Accordingly, consumers can take a bite out of the square-shaped rice food even during busy times, in motion or during driving so the efficiency of rice ball ingestion is enhanced. Furthermore, the hand or mouth of a consumer is not smeared with seasoning so the square-shaped rice food is hygienic. In addition, the square-shaped rice food is doubly packaged by the environment-friendly functional food wrapper and is thus effectively protected from external contamination so the safety and freshness of the square-shaped rice food are enhanced. The square-shaped rice food has a square bottom surface and is thus not shaken as the center of gravity of the square-shaped rice food is in a good position during loading or carrying. Moreover, the volume of a package of the square-shaped rice food is minimized so the square-shaped rice food is easily carried. |
