The present invention relates to a glass substrate edge processing apparatus to heat-treat an edge of a glass substrate to which a laser beam is emitted. The glass substrate edge processing apparatus comprises a rear roller, and a rear heater. The rear roller is arranged on a rear side of the laser beam which is moving along the edge of the glass substrate, and moves along the edge of the glass substrate while applying pressure to the edge of the glass substrate to which a laser beam is emitted. The rear heater is installed inside the rear roller, and heats the rear roller to a temperature lower than the temperature of the part to which the laser beam is emitted. The rear roller heated by the rear heater follows the laser beam, and heat-treats the edge of the glass substrate while applying pressure to the edge of the glass substrate. The glass substrate edge processing apparatus enhances hardness of the edge of the glass substrate, and prevents generation of minute cracks on the edge of the glass substrate due to a thermal stress caused by the laser beam.
