The purpose of the present invention is to provide a float glass wherein reduction in the strength of a bottom surface is effectively suppressed. The present invention relates to a float glass that does not have polishing damage on the surface thereof, wherein the summit density (Sds) of a bottom surface that is in contact with a molten metal during float forming is 4700 or less.
