An image processing device is provided with: a specific candidate region extraction means that extracts, from an intravital lumen image capturing an intravital lumen, a specific candidate region satisfying a predetermined condition; a reference region setting means that sets a reference region including at least a part of the specific candidate region; a local region extraction means that extracts local regions on the basis of the reference region; a local feature quantity calculation means that calculates local feature quantities that are feature quantities of the local regions; a weight setting means that sets weights in accordance with the local regions on the basis of the specific candidate region; and a feature quantity integration means that integrates the local feature quantities.
