PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination system which can maintain required illumination, even if a lighting apparatus deviates from under the control of a control unit.SOLUTION: A street illumination system includes a street light 20, and a control unit having an RTC for measuring the time and controlling the lighting of the street light 20 on the basis of the time of the RTC. The street illumination system is further provided with a storage section 52 for acquiring and storing the time indicated by the RTC of the control unit, and further storing the schedule data 53 for independent lighting control that defines the correspondence of the time and the lighting state of the street light 20, a timer 51 counting the time lapsed when the lighting of the street light 20 deviates from under the control of the control unit, and a control section 50 for controlling the lighting of the street light 20 while the lighting of the street light 20 deviates from under the control of the control unit, on the basis of the time stored in the storage section 52, the lapsed time, and the schedule data 53 for independent lighting control. |
