PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint having a simpler constitution.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a pipe joint 1 comprising a cylindrical joint body 10 and a cylindrical chuck member 12 arranged in an insertion passage 18 coaxially with the joint body. The joint body 10 has an action part receiving opening 38 penetrating from an outer peripheral surface 36 to an inner peripheral surface 20 thereof and receiving an action part 26 of the chuck member 12 at least partially. A rear side face 40 of the action part receiving opening is inclined backward to radially outside and a front side face 42 extends to radially outside from the inner peripheral surface of the joint body to form a corner part 44 with the inner peripheral surface. When the chuck member 12 moves backward as a tubular member P is inserted, a diameter extension action part 28 slides to engage the rear side face 40, and the action part 26 is displaced to radially outside. When the chuck member 12 moves forward as the tubular member P moves in a drawing-out direction, a diameter reduction action surface 32 slides to engage the corner part 44, and the action part 26 is displaced to radially inside, so that a lock projection 30 is pressed against an outer peripheral surface P-1 of the tubular member P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
