摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting type diesel fuel production system which reduces the amount of waste requiring a final disposal by efficiently recovering valuable materials by a catalytic cracking treatment, and efficiently utilizes electric power and hot heat, obtained from generated by-products.SOLUTION: The diesel fuel production system includes: a reactor 2 for bringing a previously heated raw material oil into contact with a catalyst to convert the raw material oil into cracked oil composed of hydrocarbons; a fractional distillation-purifier 5 including a high temperature fractionator 3 and a low-temperature fractionator 4; consumption equipment including a heavy oil consumption equipment 9 utilizing, as a fuel, heavy oil recovered in the high temperature fractionator 3 and equipment 10 consuming naphtha or the like, which utilizes, as a fuel, naphtha or the like recovered in the low temperature fractionator 4; and a product treating section 13 for delivering, as product oil, by cooling light oil recovered in the low temperature fractionator 4. In the system, at least a portion of the electric power generated in the consumption equipment is utilized as an electric power of this system, and at the same time, at least a portion of hot heat generated in the consumption equipment is utilized as a heat source of a preheater 1 or/and the reactor 2.
