The hull (2) contains at least one window (6) with an elongated shape extending principally in the horizontal direction. The window is installed between the deck (3) and a reinforced edge (5) of the hull and bridged by at least one pressure conductor 7, 8) which forms a connection between the deck and hull in the vertical direction. The pressure conductor comprises a bulkhead and/or truss made from metal or fiber-reinforced plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for building the yacht by fitting at least one window in the hull and bridging a pressure conductor between the deck and hull.
