<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet which has excellent color developing properties regardless of whichever is used, dye ink or pigment ink, high ink absorption, satisfactory scratch proofness, and excellent feeling of blank gloss/printing gloss. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording sheet has at least one ink accepting layer and a gloss developing layer, formed on a support. The ink accepting layer contains fine particles with 5 nm or above to 700 nm or below average particle diameter. In addition, the gloss developing layer contains colloidal silica with 10 nm or above to 100 nm or below average particle diameter and polyvinyl alcohol with 70 to 96% degree of saponification.
