PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire simultaneously achieving improvement of steering stability and maintenance of in-turn drainage properties while reducing rolling resistance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 is formed with an asymmetric pattern formed in a tread part 10 by grooves 12 and 16. When ratio of total width SW of the asymmetric pattern to an outside diameter OD satisfies relation of "SW/OD≤0.3", and when setting ground contact width as CW in a ground contact region G in the tread part, setting groove area ratio as GR, setting ground contact groove area ratio of a tire inside region Ai that is a range positioned on a vehicle side from a tire equator line CL in the ground contact region when mounted in the vehicle, as GRi, and setting ground contact groove area ratio of a tire outside region Ao that is a range positioned on an opposite side to the vehicle side from the tire equator line in the ground contact region, as GRo, the ground contact region is formed so as to satisfy "0.75≤CW/SW≤0.9", "10≤GR≤25%" and "GRi<GRo".SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
