Disclosed are: a body odor improving agent for application through the ingestion into the body which comprises a body odor improving substance and can improve the body odor by releasing the substance through the body surface, wherein the body odor improving substance is at least one of a polar compound and a terpene; a beverage/food comprising the body odor improving agent; and a method for improving the body odor comprising ingesting at least one of a polar substance and a terpene into the body and releasing the substance through the body surface. Thus, it becomes possible to provide a body odor improving agent for ingestion into the body which ensures the improvement in body odor in a simple manner merely by ingesting the agent into the body to release a body odor improving substance from the body surface, which is safe, and which exerts little influence on the flavor or texture of a beverage/food when applied to the beverage/food; and a beverage/food and a body odor improving method using the body odor improving agent. |
