A spiralizer blade attachment for a food processing system is provided including a base and a receiver portion. The receiver portion is coupled to the base such that the receiver portion and base are arranged vertically. The receiver portion includes a cutting slot and at least cutting edge. The at least one cutting edge is configured to rotate about an axis created by a food item received within the receiver portion.
