a mode control unit configured to perform control at least so as to switch periodically between a first mode that causes the information processing apparatus to be operated at a first voltage level and a second mode that causes the information processing apparatus to be operated at a second voltage level higher than the first voltage level and lower than a third voltage level of a third mode corresponding to a running state of the information processing apparatus; and an operation control unit configured to disable certain input operation performed by a user if a state satisfies a certain condition after the mode control unit switches from the first mode to the second mode, wherein the certain input operation is a switching from the second mode to the third mode, and wherein the mode control unit and the operation control unit are each implemented via at least one processor.
