<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method which enables a record of a high-definition image excellent in character quality and exhibites an excellent continuous ejection properties and intermitting ejection properties. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording method where ink is ejected from an ink jet recording head having a nozzle plate subjected to water-repellent treatment, the ink contains at least a coloring material, water, and a high molecular compound where a hydrophilic main chain has a plurality of side chains which can be crosslinked through irradiation with an active energy beam, and an amorphous thermoplastic resin having a perfluoro structure is employed in water-repellent treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
