Reference electrode for a pH measuring device, in which the reference electrode is connected via a diaphragm to a sample channel containing the sample to be examined, and in which an electrolyte container is provided, an output electrode projecting into the electrolytes. In the case of such a reference electrode, in order to avoid any influence by the electrolytes on the sample to be examined, provision is made for a capillary 53 extending in the interior of the reference electrode as far as the fine-pored diaphragm 51 to be provided, the reference electrode being essentially of closed design and being connected via lines 21, 22 to the electrolyte container 28, which is arranged lower down than the reference electrode, and to a waste container 8. <IMAGE> |
