MANUFACTURE OF LAMINATED FILM

PURPOSE:To prevent the temp. rise of a coating roll due to friction heat by carrying out lamination while a buffer solution is dripped on the outside part of the weir plate positioned on a doctor roll and/or a metering roll. CONSTITUTION:Lamination is carried out while a buffer solution is dripped on the parts 7, 8 outside from the weir plates 6 positioned on a doctor roll 5 and/or a metering roll 4 during laminating processing. The buffer solution is a lubricating liquid capable of preventing the generation of the friction heat of the rolls 4, 5 and any one bringing about no trouble in a laminating process even when it is mixed with an adhesive in a slight amount can be used without any restriction but a compound with an MW of 200-500 having two or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule thereof and liquid at room temp. is especially desirable. This compound is used as it is or diluted to 20wt.% or more by other org. solvent before use. As the compound with an MW of 500 or less having two or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule thereof and liquid at room temp., ethylene glycol or propylene glycol can be designated.
