PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproduction system, a content output apparatus, a content reproduction apparatus, and a content reproduction method capable of easily preventing the so-called missing of a start portion in the case of reproducing contents such as music and video.

SOLUTION: The content reproduction apparatus acquires a standby time until the content reproduction apparatus is turned into a content reproducible state after receiving an input of a content signal via an input output means and controls the output start timing of the contents signal on the basis of the standby time.
