PURPOSE:To provide a lining method for a metal pipe with branches, from the inner peripheral face of which a swelling section of a synthetic resin pipe is not peeled off. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin pipe 2 is inserted through the inside of a main pipe 11 of a metal pipe 1, and the protruded end of the synthetic resin pipe 2 is fixed on a reducer 4 connected with the end of the main pipe 2. Both ends of the synthetic pipe 2 are blocked with plugs 6 and the ends of branches 12 are blocked with blank flanges 7, and then a hot medium is introduced into the synthetic resin pipe 2 and softened therein. Then, a pressurizing medium is introduced into the synthetic pipe 2, and the synthetic resin pipe 2 is expanded in the diameter direction and the pipe is brought into contact with the inner peripheral face of the main pipe 11, and also expanded until the pipe is swollen and intruded into the branches 12 and brought into contact with the inner peripheral faces of the branches 12. Then the blank flanges are removed from the ends of branches 2 and the swelling end of the synthetic resin pipe 2 being in contact with the peripheral faces of branches 12 is cut off and opened, and then synthetic resin short pipes 3 with collars are inserted into the branches 12 bonded and cemented. Thus resin lining metal pipe in which the swelling section of the synthetic resin pipe 2 is not peeled off from the inner peripheral faces of the branches 12 can be manufactured simply. |
