PURPOSE:To freely chang the width of an air jet by a method wherein a sealing characteristic of a jet part has been improved in an air knife for a resin sheet- cooling and solidifying apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In an air knife 4 wherein air is blown on a melt resin sheet from a jet formed longitudinally at a tip of a jet part of a V-shaped section to carry out cooling by pushing that on a cooling roll 3, a sealing sheet 5 consisting of a sheet of a V-shaped section having elasticity is inserted, freely movably in a longitudinal direction of the jet part, inside the jet part of the air knife from both edge faces, and the sealing sheet 5 is made movable with a transferring screw rod 11. |
