PURPOSE:To suppress the partial lowering of the strength of a molded product caused by the shearing action at the time of the flowing of a resin accompanied by press molding in the press molding of a liquid crystal resin composite. CONSTITUTION:A mold is filled with a molding material B1 prepared by compounding a fibrous thermoplastic liquid crystal resin with a plate-shaped matrix containing a thermoplastic matrix resin and the molding material B1 is subjected to press molding within the temp. range from the min. moldable temp. of the matrix resin to below the liquid crystal transition temp. of the liquid crystal resin to produce a liquid crystal resin composite. A thermoplastic liquid crystal resin fiber LF formed by spinning molding is compounded with the area where the shearing degree acting on the molding material B1 is large at the time of the flowing of the material B1 accompanied by press molding, for example, the area corresponding to a flange part, a rib or boss part or the like. |
