PURPOSE:To intuitively deform a displayed image with setting of a parameter by designating a partial area of an undeformed curved surface and multiplying a deformable vector field function by a deformation vector for production of a deformed curved surface. CONSTITUTION:A parameteris supplied by a mouse 4 for setting an acting point on an xy plane, and the parameters are supplied by the levers 5 and 6 for deciding the size of a deformed area including the acting point. A lever 7 sets the direction and the height of a deformed vector set at the acting point, and a curved surface viewed from the position of a visual point set by a track ball 8 is shown on a display device 3. Then, a CPU of a curved surface computing device 1 multiplies a vector field function showing the relative relation among the deformation rates of each point in the deformed area by a deformation vector shown by a parameter for production of a position vector which shows the deformed variable of a curved surface included in the deformed area. Then, a position vector which shows a deformed curved surface is generated by adding this position vector to the position vector showing the underformed curved surface. |
