PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage magnetic field formed by a vertically deflecting coil to a smaller level than in a conventional case for the deflection yoke of a cathode-ray tube used for a display device such as computer. CONSTITUTION:Cancel coils 8 and 9 are arranged on the axis X, which traverses almost the center of a neck and runs in parallel to the display screen of a cathode-ray tube, and the direction of which crosses perpendicular to the direction of vertical deflection, and on the outside of a deflection yoke 1, respectively. The leakage magnetic field formed by a vertical deflection coil V is thus cancelled by the cancel coils 8, 9. |
