PURPOSE:To avoid the danger of having the hand or foot caught into a gap between a safety grip and a bathtub at the time of getting into or out of a bathtub and to enhance the usefulness of the bathtub. CONSTITUTION:Safety grips 18, 20 are fixedly and protrusively mounted on each of two opposite inner faces 16 of the bathtub 17 with the safety grip 18 mounted on the inner face 16 of the bathtub on the side of a wash place, forming a nearly flat overall shape from end to top so as to prevent a gap being created between the inner face 16 of the bathtub and the safety grip 18. The safety grip 20 on the inner opposite face is designed to be a grip bar fixed on the said inner face 16 directly or through a pair of legs 28, 30 having a bar shaped body 26 located away from the said inner face 16 with each end of the body 26 extending towards the inner face 16. |
