<p>A method and a terminal for reporting to a server are provided to efficiently use resources of the terminal and a communication link by filtering and reporting a result of a DM command to a DM server, and enable the DM server to know the result of the DM command even if the result is not transferred to the DM server by accessing a log of the terminal. The first module searches a gating rule and determines to report the result of the DM command to the DM server according to the gating rule if the DM command is performed. The second module reports the result to the DM server according to a determination result. The gate rule includes the first element code for indicating a reference number of the command not to be reported and the second element for pointing a response code not to be reported. The third module installs scheduling context by receiving the scheduling context includes the DM command, a DM command executing condition, and the gating rule. The result of the DM command corresponds to one of a status, result, or alert type. Determination is performed to only the status type.</p> |
