<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein it takes longer time until an original image is displayed as compared with a case where development processing is made only to the original image for display, when development processing is made in the order of a compressed thumbnail image and a compressed original image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor for obtaining the original image as an image for display by developing a compressed image comprises: a first decoder; a second decoder that has a slower development processing speed than that of the first decoder; and a display management section for selecting the image for display. The first decoder performs the development processing of the compressed image, the second decoder performs development processing for a compressed thumbnail image where the thumbnail image of the original image has been compressed, and the display management section selects a thumbnail image obtained as a result of the development processing by the second decoder as the image for display. Then, when the first decoder completes the development processing, the original image obtained as a result of the development processing by the first decoder is selected as the image for display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
