PURPOSE:To provide a power supply device for camera capable of switching battery without installing a changeover switching mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with plural battery chambers 1 and 2 for making either of positive and negative power supply terminals function as moving terminals 4 and 5 which can be attached/separated to/from the stored battery, and the device is provided with a power supply switching means 52 for supplying the power to the camera by the battery stored in the battery chamber which is optionally selected by a selecting/operating member, and the power supply switching means 52 is provided with a displacing means for moving the moving terminal lying in one battery chamber so as to be separated from the battery in the case of selecting/operating the selecting/operating member with reference to the other battery chamber, and for making the moving terminal in the selected battery chamber come into contact with the battery. |
