发明名称 MAP MATCHING METHOD FOR NAVIGATION SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a map matching method for navigation system of automobile employing a GPS receiver in which the positional reliability is enhanced while prolonging the matching internal by solving such problem as mistaking the road in an urban area or having little chance for matching. CONSTITUTION:Positioning results are inputted from a GPS receiver to a result input 1 and the matching state is judged at the step 10. In case of mismatching, conditions for starting the matching are evaluated at the step A4. In case of matching, conditions for sustaining the matching is evaluated and a position is estimated at the step B11 thus realizing a map matching where a highly reliable matching interval is long.
