The invention relates to a multifunctional container for liquids intended for human consumption, which operates with a vacuum and which has different functions. The container is essentially formed by a closed chamber and a generally-open chamber which are intercommunicated with one another. The level of liquid in the closed chamber can be above that in the open chamber without producing an overflow as a result of the vacuum generated inside the former. The different elements of the container are shaped and arranged such as to enable multiple features, such as: conserving the consistency and temperature of the liquid for a longer time, preventing direct contact between ice and other floating elements and the consumer, maintaining the hygienic status of the liquid, facilitating the consumption of the liquid in any position, reducing liquid overflow, facilitating the regulation of the liquid discharge flow rate, preventing visual range from being obstructed when consuming the liquid and facilitating cleaning, among others.
