PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate a mechanism to rotate a moving edge by constituting a circle cutter to cut a sheet by moving a disk-shaped moving edge in the sheet width direction as a timing belt, a fixed rack and a moving pulley, and making a moving mechanism of the moving edge also serve as a rotary mechanism. SOLUTION: When a timing belt 2 extended between pulleys 5 and 6 rotates clockwise when a driving pulley 5 rotates by a driving mechanism, a moving pulley 3 meshing with an edge 2a formed on the timing belt 2 rotates anticlockwise. Then, since its edge also meshes with teeth la of a fixed rack 1, the moving pulley 3 moves rightward to the fixed rack 1. Since the fixed rack 1 is fixed to a frame, the moving pulley 3 finally moves in the right direction while rotating anticlockwise. When a radius of the moving pulley is denoted by (r), when the timing belt moves by a length of 4πr, the moving pulley rotates once, and moves by a distance of 2πr, so that a moving edge rotating mechanism can be obviated.
