A stud (1, 2, 3) of wood or the like to construct stud walls and/or floor structures of wood or the like, wherein at least one long side is formed with at least one longitudinal recess (7) extending between the ends of the stud and being open outwards, and wherein a number of such studs (1, 2, 3) may be interconnected by means of coupling means (5, 10, 11), which may be anchored in said recesses (7). The coupling means may be configured as: A) anchoring members (5, 10, 11) placed at the ends of certain studs (1, 2, 3); B) building panels (5), which are arranged to inserted in and to be anchored inside said recesses (7) in order to form a sealed wall/sealed floor structure, preferably in combination with insulation (4) and/or external panelling (6); C) coupling means (9), which are arranged to be anchored in the recesses (7) at the ends of the studs (1, 2, 3) positioned in butt-ended relationship. Guide strips (8) may be mounted in the recesses to seal between the studs (1, 2, 3). Reinforcement profile sections (12) may be anchored in the recesses (7) by means of flanges (13) formed in the profile-section sides. |
