Open end spinning batch change

To change a batch of wound yarns at an open end spinner, with a number of spinning stations, the actions for the end of the batch are started at a set time point where max. 75% of the spinning stations give indications that the batch of cross wound bobbins is to be changed. Before the end of winding the batch, the state of winding still to be achieved before the end is registered, to give the required time to achieve the min. wound lengths of the yarns on the winding bobbins in use. The spinning stations are stopped where their bobbins cannot achieve the min. wound lengths by the end of winding the batch.
