The damper has a drive plate (3) and a driven plate (5) with two coil springs (7,8) between them. The intermediate plate (4) has a support region (21) and first and second intermediate bounding regions (22a,22b). The support region is between the two coil springs. The support region of the intermediate plate supports the coil springs at the circumference. The first and second bounding regions run into the cavities of the two coil springs from the intermediate support region to bound the radial outward movement of the coil springs.
