<p>A bottomed hollow socket main body (4) formed of an elastic material composed of rubber is provided with a flange section (6) having a diameter larger than the outside diameter of a cylindrical section (5) of the main body (4) around the cylindrical section (5) on the bottom side of the main body (4) and a locking section (18) around the cylindrical section (5) in the middle section of the main body (4), and a pair of conductive terminals (9) are housed in the main body in a state where the terminals (9) are faced to each other. Each terminal (9) has holding pieces (11) formed by nearly perpendicularly bending pieces from their base sections (10) to both sides, and electric cords (13) connected to the terminals (9) are lead out from a pair of hole sections formed through the bottom of the main body (4). A wedge base type lamp (1) is inserted into the main body (4) from the opening side of the main body (4) and a sealing section (3) of the lamp (1) is held between each paired holding pieces (11). In addition, a locking section (18) is fitted with a socket holder provided on a fixture housing. The locking section (18) is provided around the cylindrical section (5) except at least the part corresponding to the base sections (10) of the terminals (9).</p> |
