The fluid flow being measured passes through a series of chambers and ducts in a two part fitting (32,30). Fluid moving in direction (A) enters the fitting through an orifice (26), is slowed down in a chamber (36) and falls transversely (B). Ducts longitudinal to the original direction (A) allow the fluid to enter a central chamber where it rises (C) and passes through an oscillation chamber (52) with a deflecting obstacle and a measuring unit (34). The fluid exits through an orifice (62), a downstream chamber (64) and final orifice (28).
