The mixer consists of an ergonomically shaped holder, half round in shape and slightly curved in the middle for a good grip, and a distal component of round or oval section with a smooth surface and a shaped tip suitable for use with a cardboard test support. The distal component can be removed from the holder for disposal. A variant of the design can have a number of distal components attached to a single holder.
